What we engineer
We engineer based on regulations determined by the International Code Council and reference the International Building Code. A structural review focuses exclusively on the "bones" of a structure to ensure it is stable, safe, and secure.
Tall Walls
Exterior stud walls that exceed the standard heights permitted by prescriptive code, which require specific engineered calculations to handle wind and gravity loads.
Full Structural
A comprehensive, specialized assessment of a home's foundation, framing, roof, and support system to ensure the stability of all load-bearing and lateral-force-resisting components.
Retaining Wall
Focuses on preventing sliding, overturning, and bearing failure by analyzing forces like active/passive earth pressure, surcharge, and wall weight, keeping safety factors for soil bearing capacity and structural integrity.
Lateral
Evaluates a structure's ability to resist wind and seismic forces through shear walls, diaphragms, and hold-downs, keeping the building from racking, sliding, or overturning under lateral load.
Pole Barns
Post-frame buildings supported on embedded columns rather than a continuous foundation, engineered for post embedment depth, truss spacing, and wind/snow loads for shops, barns, and ag buildings.
